OUR HISTORY

CitySports FC was founded in March 2024 with a vision to bring the passion of football to the heart of Lagos. Despite being a relatively new addition to the football scene, the club quickly made its mark by participating in the Lagos State FA Cup. Their debut in the tournament was met with anticipation and excitement from fans eager to see what this new team had to offer.

However, CitySports FC faced a tough challenge in the FA Cup, being knocked out in the round of 32 after a hard-fought match against Box to Box FC. Despite their early exit, the experience served as a valuable learning curve for the team, highlighting areas for improvement and motivating them to strive for success in future competitions.

Our History

Undeterred by their setback in the FA Cup, CitySports FC shifted their focus to the NLO 2024 season. Assigned to Group Legacy Pitch 2, the team embraced the opportunity to showcase their talent and determination on a broader stage. With a blend of promising young players and seasoned professionals, CitySports FC aimed to make their presence felt in the NLO and leave a lasting impression on the Nigerian football landscape.

As they navigate through the challenges and triumphs of the NLO 2024 season, CitySports FC continues to embody the spirit of perseverance and ambition, determined to carve out a place for themselves among the elite clubs of Nigerian football.
